I had some fun finishing this 4 story “mural of heroes” for GRH about a week ago eith Chad from lending a hand. The project came about from GRHF’s Care Never Stops Campaign and was designed by Julie of . The premise behind the design was to pay tribute to patients, caregivers, nurses, doctors, and staff.
Unfortunately, Julie had experienced an injury before the mural started, and was unable to be up on a lift to paint this in the timeline that was given. She asked us if we’d be into laying it down for her and we said yes.
Julie is a talented artist who has also done mural work throughout the region, and we were happy to meet and work with her. Look for a large scale collaboration between us in the future ;)
To be honest-It was really weird at first, to paint someone else’s artwork at such large scale but once the lines were down, it became a lot of fun.
6 gallons of Loxon, several of Latitude, 120 spray cans, 2 lift changes, 100 coffees, 200 bottles of water, a CTV interview, a newspaper article and here we are.
