Growing up in Victoria, BC, I was always amazed by the power of expression through clothes, I loved how different combinations of clothes can turn anyone into a whole other person. Once my family landed in Canada in 2012, I was thrown into a sport-focused school, lots of my classmates were obsessed with basketball, and it wasn't long till I tried my skills on the court! And I'm so glad I did, once
on the court I felt a sense of liberation, I could all of a sudden show off what I was made of, and the sport quickly became the focus of my elementary school years. As the years of elementary school grew closer to the end, I was completely obsessed with basketball and their shoe apparel. Not long after I finished elementary school I launched Vic streetwear. First, it started off as a very low-scale sell and trade page, with low followers, but with a big road ahead! The first 2 logos of VS were very lazy designs, I just downloaded pictures off Google and use them as my profile, first, it was a flower with a gray background (very lazy I know). Then I changed it to a drawing of a pill bottle, having shoes and other apparel falling out of it. I thought this image would better describe and get the attention of potential future customers. But just after one year of switching logos, the page got so much traffic that my own logo needed to be created. A few days later the "VS" logo was born, the one we all know and love! It's been the same, unchanged logo, for 4 years now, since the change in the fall of 2019. Since then , on Instagram, has been growing steadily, and once the summer of 2023 rolled around, I knew it was time to expand. After multiple disagreements between my parents, forcing me to go to school, I was able to win some time for myself to really expand this dream of mine. With my parents' approval to pursue my business for the time being, I had to get my friends to join the wanders of reselling. My friend group has been a big help for me while growing up, whether that was personal or business-related. Because of these strong friendships, I was able to gather a few guys, and together with them, we started VST. A page focused on clothing and expression, with the help of my friends and family, I'm just now able to start my true dream. To help people find and express themselves, through the best way I think is possible, clothing. So come along for the ride, join the forever growing "VS" community, show off all your fits and combinations, and continue being you
