🌱 New Beginnings with Brija 🌱
As many of you know, losing my sweet dachshund Figaro shattered my heart.
I needed time to grieve, to breathe, and to find something that could gently pull me forward again.
So I picked up a little hobby I hadn’t touched in years—my beading and embroidery.
It originally started as a COVID craft, something I taught myself that unexpectedly turned into a passion.
I even sold quite a few pieces back then!
But when I returned to full-time teaching at Sing A Song That's Yours Vocal Studios, life got busy, and the beads slowly got tucked away.
Over the past while, so much has happened, and I just never found the time or the headspace to create… until now.
And honestly getting back into my embroidery has felt like therapy. I didn’t realize how much I absolutely missed it.
Creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces has brought me so much comfort and joy.
I’m excited to share that I’ve re-launched this little passion project under a new name: Brija — meaning seed, growth, and new beginnings. It felt fitting. 💛

And here’s a collection of some of my recent and past work — I can’t wait to share more with you. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, and held space for me during this season of healing. 💕
