We are sister-in-laws that are lucky enough to actually love spending time with one another. We love to be creative and see that turn into something tangible so WestCo. is a result of exactly that. We came up with the name WestCo. as both of our last names were West...Heather is now married but West is close to her heart :)
We started WestCo. at a local Thanksgiving market in a small town called

Vineland, Ontario. This market is our favourite time of year as people put on their favourite Fall sweater + check out so many booths with handmade goodies. We decided we would try putting a booth together of our knit+crochet items. People were stopping by our table asking for a business card, website, page, etsy account... so in one weekend all of that was made and put in place! It is such a joy to see people wear and take a look at our creations, we started at a market wanting to do something fun together not knowing our hobby would turn into a little business. PAUSE
I have loved having WestCo as a hobby for the past 13 years. It has been a creative outlet that has been life giving but even more it created community + friendships.
In this next season I’ll be putting a PAUSE on WestCo so I can focus on home ♥️ I’m not sure how long the pause will be but it’s an exciting transition for our family.
THANK YOU for each of your likes, comments, follows and for those who have worn a WestCo creation, it all has been so encouraging over the years.
I’ll still be around creating + sharing but not as often. I hope to see you around still as well.
