Well I've been a little inactive on this page lately, but as usual I'm still crocheting away. In addition to many custom projects I've worked on in the past few months, I've also had my hand in a new project.

I have created a crochet journal for other crocheters to keep their notes together. This is my first launch of hopefully many.

As usual I've been to busy to post, but my hook is always up to something.

Decided it was time to clean up some of the scraps in my stash.

I love the way scrap blankets work up and are so unique each and every time.

This one is being done in a moss stitch with my 5.5mm hook. It'll be a beautiful piece for my camper when it is done.

I find it next to impossible to finish a project when I hate the way it is turning out.

This mermaid tail blanket was a test piece for a pattern I wasn't sure about. I was literally an hour away from finishing it when I went "nope can't do it". So a frogging I go.

When I'm not working on custom orders I like to challenge myself, broaden my skill set and try new to me patterns, but sometimes they just don't work as well as they should. Sometimes it's the pattern, sometimes it's the materials and sometimes it's just my mood.

Today will be backward steps, but the thing about backwards is its still motion, and remaining in motion, never stuck or stagnant is what matters to me.

"You could rattle the stars..."

What is there to be said about this project, it was a challenge, but it's finally at its home.

This C2C graphgan taught me many skills, it also taught me that no matter what sometimes you just have to frog, and frog and keep frogging until you get it right. I'm thankful for the skills and patience I have learned through this project...
..Now on to the next!
