THE INSPIRATION

Black Oak Materials PERSPECTIVE design

This was designed with the intention of taking the time to see things from points of view other than my own.

It was also created to remind myself that even though my perspective may differ from others, either actually or imagined, it is that uniqueness that I must step in to and embrace. It is a uniqueness we all share uniquely.

It is a PERSPECTIVE I share in hopes that others feel it in kind. Recognizing where we may differ from others, it can make bridging the gap between miscommunication and comprehension much easier to obtain amongst competing, contrary and opposing movements.

The idea behind PERSPECTIVE is less about ownership of our visions alone, and more about the coming together of many visions and the possibilities that exist when we can synthesize the best parts of them all.

To the positive changes for us all that come from OUR PERSPECTIVES...rooted in the kaleidoscope of experience we call life.

Black Oak Materials DRIVE FIRE Design

We are officially in "FIRE" season... Sagittarius season for those who follow astrology.

The DRIVE FIRE design was created to illuminate the inspirations and motivations we experience which propel us to action - change. These sparks come to us in a variety of ways, some positive, some negative...but with some focus and patience we can utilize the energies that stir in us when this occurs, to push us in the directions we want to pursue.

We hope all are able to channel their energies, good and bad, into the things that they want to experience in their lives. EXPERIENCE!

This was one of our very first designs but it unfortunately never made it onto the production floor.

The message, the idea, rings true and clear though and it was something we wanted to share.
