Hey friends (new & old), I’m Shantalle, the person behind Pebbles & Pine.

I’m definitely in my romantic era, but not in the fancy way. More like trying to make life feel slower again. More porch sitting. More books. More watching the birds like they’re putting on a show specifically for me.

More of that 90s kind of feeling, when the days felt longer, we climbed trees, hung out at the beach, came home tired, and nobody needed to turn every tiny thing into content.

That’s the feeling I keep coming back to with Pebbles & Pine too. Clothing with meaning. Soft places to land. Little reminders that you belong here, exactly as you are.

I’m a neurodivergent creator, mom of a trans young adult, raising neurodivergent humans, and yes, protective mom energy is included. If you’re new here, welcome. I’m glad you found this little corner.

22 years married today which means my husband has officially spent over two decades accidentally becoming the unpaid employee of Pebbles & Pine 😂

What started as “can you help me for a second?” somehow turned into carrying bins, building vendor displays, jumping in to model at the last second, hauling tables, fixing things I’ve rage-clicked, listening to business rants at 11pm, and pretending he understands why moving a logo over by 2 pixels matters.

This man did not sign up to know how to repair a press, fixed machinery at ungodly hours, design websites, or how many bins can fit in a car trunk at once, and yet here we are.

Behind every small business is usually at least one exhausted spouse holding a coffee, lifting heavy things, and asking “where do you want this?” for the 400th time.

When I started Pebbles & Pine, it was never about “selling shirts.” It was about creating the kind of space I wish more people had. A place where people feel seen, safe, supported, and like they belong exactly as they are.

As the mom of a trans daughter, I know firsthand how much community matters. I know what it feels like to search for support, to find people who get it, and to realize you’re not carrying everything alone anymore.

That’s a huge part of why matters so much to me and why $1 from every Pebbles & Pine item sold supports them.

Community changes people. Support changes people. Feeling like you belong changes people. That’s what this brand has always been about.

A lot of neurodivergent people dress for comfort first and this is my actual daily uniform 😅

An oversized hoodie, black leggings, and Birkenstocks is what I wear pretty much every single day. As a daycare provider, I’m constantly moving, sitting on floors, carrying tiny humans, cleaning messes, and switching between twelve things at once. I need clothing that feels comfortable, easy to move in, and holds up to being worn constantly.

That’s a huge part of how Pebbles & Pine apparel gets designed and tested in real life. These aren’t pieces I wear once for a photo and hang back up. I live in them.

Comfort matters. Quality matters. Feeling like yourself in what you wear matters too.

A lot of small businesses are built in between real life. Between our full time jobs, exhaustion, caregiving, appointments, late nights, admin work, family responsibilities, burnout, and trying to keep up with everyday life at the same time.

What people see online is usually the finished product. What you don’t always see are the hours behind it. The emails. The packing. The problem solving. The learning curves (research & development 😉). The moments where you question if any of it is even working. The absolute heart that goes into every aspect.

Pebbles & Pine has never been built in perfect conditions. It’s been built slowly, intentionally, and very humanly. I know I’m craving that human connection now more then ever, what about you?

Thank you for being here while this continues to grow…very intentionally.
