It’s Labour Day, and we’re open in Port Stanley! And if you stepped outside this morning, you probably noticed it too… those cooler mornings and evenings are definitely giving us a little taste of what’s ahead. ☀️🍁

Well… we’re not saying it will… but we’re also not saying it won’t. 😉

The only responsible thing to do is conduct some very serious research. Try on a few things. Maybe a dress. Perhaps a new top. Definitely check out the sale rack. You know… for science. 😂

And if you happen to leave Latika Fashions with a shopping bag in your hand and a smile on your face… we’ll consider the research a success! ❤️

Ladies, let’s stop letting the number on the tag dictate how we feel about our bodies! ❤️

A size is just a number—and that number can change from designer to designer, style to style, and even fabric to fabric.

You might be a medium in one outfit and a large in another. You might even need to go down a size sometimes! And that’s okay.

What really matters is how the clothing fits YOU.

Especially with linen, it’s important not to force yourself into a smaller size just because you normally wear it. Linen has very little give, and a piece that fits properly will always look more flattering, feel more comfortable, and allow you to move beautifully.

So when you’re shopping at Latika, ignore the number. Try it on. Check the fit. Look in the mirror. And choose what makes you feel fabulous.

Because the goal isn’t to fit into a particular size.

The goal is to find clothes that fit YOU. ❤️

😂 Ladies, you know exactly what I’m talking about! 😂

You walk into a clothing store, spot a gorgeous new sweater coat, and suddenly… THIS IS IT! 😍 You love the colour, the style, the feel—and you’re already imagining all the different ways you’re going to wear it!

Then you turn to your husband, expecting him to share your excitement…
