Do you want to learn to sew? Stitching Imaginations offers Sewing Basics 1 for beginners ages 8 and up. This class teaches you how to use your machine while making 2 complete items. A pillowcase and PJ pants to fit you. Children's classes also includes a pair of pants for 18" doll. Each class is 2 sessions of approximately 2 hours each. No minimum class size.
Other classes also available. Let's get you sewing

Stitching Imaginations has been unavailable for a while due to priorities as a grandparent. OPENING AGAIN SOON in new location.
This is one of my grandmother's quilts that inspired me from the time I was a child. Looking forward to sharing more soon.

To those that follow me, I know that I have not posted anything in a while. I've been busy with my wonderful granddaughter. Here are a few things she will get for Christmas. I found the apron at a second hand store (who ever made it, made it with love) and I already had the fabric so I added a hat.
Also a matching game. I used food items mostly, she already tried this one out when she found it in the sewing room.
And the summer quilt I started for her in April for her 2nd birthday.
Now I am working on Pj pants for Christmas. And loving it!

Just a quick up date on the house progress. First room finished being painted is ....Sewing room. Of course now using it as a bedroom while that room gets painted. Living room is painted just need to do the floor and it will also be finished. There is a lot of work needed, A lot of work being done and eventually it will be ready for show and tell. Can't wait to empty the storage unit and finally be settled.
Moving to London has it's ups and downs. In the long run, this is a great move for my husband and me.

Finally got access to our new home. Lots of work to be done, and just as much cleaning. We removed the carpeting and under padding and discovered hardwood floors in the bedrooms. So we took a chance and started to lift the underlay from the living room. and discovered yet more hardwood. I was overjoyed with this. Love hardwood floors. They need a bit of work, and have lots of character but yay!

I will be starting classes again in the evenings and on weekends once we get the work done, and get moved in.

Well I best go and prepare to work hard to help my wonderful husband with the house, and garage. Have a good day!

Had a fun tiring weekend watching my granddaughter. I started this bubble quilt for her, and when I tried to take it home so that it can be finished, I had to pry it from her. On the bright side, I know she will love it when finished.
