🌊❤️ Celebrating Our Mosaic Team! ❤️🌊

Last night was a pretty special one for me , my first summer staff appreciation and team-building night as the new owner of Mosaic!

After an incredibly busy summer, it was wonderful to step outside the shop and spend some time making memories with three amazing ladies ,Hailey, Delilah and Anne.

Hailey has been part of Mosaic for several years, Delilah joined us in early April ,and Anne joined our team in June. These three ladies have helped so many people through our doors this summer, and I’m incredibly thankful for them.

We started our evening in beautiful Blue Rocks with Zodiac Coastal Tours – ExpeditionNovaScotia.com A huge thank-you to Jason and Deb Ransom for an incredible experience! We explored our beautiful coastline, learned lots, took in some amazing scenery and laughed , A LOT! 🌊😂

I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a unique local adventure or a really fun team-building experience.

Then it was off to Salt Shaker Deli for a fantastic dinner, more laughs and a chance to talk about some of the experiences and memories we’ve shared this summer.

What a perfect way to celebrate an amazing summer together! ❤️

🐦 A Tiny Visitor at Mosaic This Morning! 🐦

Well, we had the tiniest little visitor come through our doors this morning! 💕

Tweet-tweet-tweeting her way through the shop, she eventually made her way all the way to the back of Mosaic, where she decided the perfect hiding spot was underneath one of our cupboards.

Haley and Delilah did their very best to safely guide our little feathered shopper back outside, but she had other plans! 😂 So we had to call in reinforcements ,my fiancé, Derek, to the rescue!

After a little chase around the shop (with plenty of tweeting the entire time! 🐦🎶), Derek was finally able to safely catch our tiny guest and get her back outside where she belonged.

She left without making a purchase… but she certainly gave us our entertainment for the morning! 😂❤️

Just another day at Mosaic , you truly never know who might stop in for a visit! 🐦💕

Lunenburg is BUSY !!!and we are loving every minute of it! ⚓️☀️🌊

What an incredible August it has been here in beautiful Lunenburg!

Every single day, we are welcoming visitors through the doors of Mosaic from all over the world , the USA, Germany, across Europe, Australia, and so many other wonderful places. 🌎

They’re arriving by plane, train and car, making Lunenburg part of their Maritime adventure , and we feel so fortunate that so many of them are making Mosaic part of their visit, too. ❤️

The shop has been bustling, the streets are full, and there is such a wonderful energy in town right now. We’ve had so many great conversations, met some truly lovely people, and watched our little shop fill up day after day.

It has been a crazy, wonderfully busy month, and we are still here , restocking, unpacking, wrapping, chatting, laughing and absolutely thrilled to welcome everyone who walks through our doors!

To every visitor who has stopped in, told a friend about us, made a purchase, supported one of our Canadian makers, or simply taken the time to say hello , THANK YOU. Your support of our small local business means more than you know. ❤️
