Spent the day yesterday making crib sheets and a blanket for the new little addition to our family. Two weeks to go until he’s here and lots to do. It felt good to sew for myself for a change.

I will return to sewing for people in September.

When I was a little girl I used to stare at this dome on my mother’s shelf... it had beautiful morpho butterfly’s in it. Over the years it was damaged so badly that my mother removed everything in it. A few Christmas’s ago my mothers gave me the dome and asked that I remake it again.... and I finally did it. I found some old caragana root and ordered some dried butterflies and voila. If you would like to make something similar comment in the post and if enough people want to try their hand at this I will make a class... cheers happy creating

Christmas is coming!!!!

Have a project that you want to sew but don’t want the hassle of using the kitchen table..... or maybe the gift is for someone in the house and you have to try and hide it.... putting it away and taking it out can cause a headache... so why not come here.... Creative Gene has every thing you need.... and if I don’t just let me know.

Each station has a sewing machine, a serger, cutting mats and scissors. Plus all the little things like pins, thread, and rulers....And best of all it only rents out for $10/hr.

I also provide a space you can store your project if you don’t finish it in an hour (so you don’t have to take it home every time)

And don’t worry about the clean up. I take care of that.

You are welcome to come check it out

P.s. Stay tuned for some exciting fun little projects and ideas you, your family or friends can sign up for. Some of these will include wood burning, hand made jewelry, and crafts. So check back throughout the month.
