the Christmas season is being welcomed officially to scrappy and Louise’s house as Advent starts this weekend. I bought my first bag of mandarin oranges and even a piece of fruit cake to enjoy with a cup of tea from time to time. The Christmas music will start getting played in rotation on Sunday. I am now on my annual hunt for Ganong’s chicken bones. So far I have no trips planned to go to the Hat to get some at Bulk barn. Sometimes they are brought into the co-op but I haven’t seen any yet this year. I will just have to hope for the best. I do love having them for Christmas and beyond.

It looks like I will be going to the laundromat later this am. I will be headed to the bank first to get a couple of rolls of loonies have on hand to use in the washer. I will only be drying the flannette fabric yardage I bought last week so it will be ready to use when I decide to start sewing my comfy new Pjs. The rest if the clean wet laundry will get hung up on hangers to dry once I get home. My rolling rack will be handy for that.
