All of our fabric comes from previously loved sources! We use thrifted pieces of fabric or clothes that can be repurposed. We also try our very best to source all of our other tid-bits from local or other small shops. We make comfy essentials for every season, special occasion outfits and everyday wear for the kiddos in your life. Custom orders are available if you're looking to revive or preserve

Our Story

Have you ever wondered how SIBkids got its name? First off, I should explain that “S.I.B” stands for ‘Somewhere In Between’... and Somewhere In Between seemingly fit perfect with the idea of clothes, sustainably handmade from repurposed materials, being Somewhere In Between new and old.

But adopting the concept of actually being ‘Somewhere In Between’ for my brand came from entering a new stage in life and all the experiences that came with it: being a first time parent. As a new mother, I was trying to place myself within my new role and within my new reality. I was no longer a ‘social worker’, no longer ‘just a girlfriend’ and I was no longer ‘just me’. I was wearing myself thin trying to find this new identity I felt I needed. Until one day I realized... I was simply Somewhere In Between it all - and that was good! With that realization came the desire to cultivate happiness now. Once I realized the abundance I already had around me, I decided to cultivate a more sustainable life.

It was on one of my many trips to the thrift store when it hit me: there was already lots of ‘old’ material, that wont ever really be ‘new’ again, but it could certainly be Somewhere In Between. And it could come in the form of stylish and lovable tiny human clothing! -Anna
