Ohh hi! It's me. I'm still here. I'm been working from home for the last 2 months and I've hired on one bookkeeper, James. How's working at home with a two year old? Impossible but we make it work. The transition from being an acute care nurse to a self-taught bookkeeper has been an emotional roller coaster. Every day, i'm learning something new, I'm back tracking on things i've done incorrectly, toss in an anxiety attack here and there. But I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to work for myself. Build the business with Paul and have the freedom I never felt when working at the hospital. Yes, my job isn't Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, I'm working weekends, evenings, and sometimes into the night, but I know in the end, it'll be worth it. And I'm happy to be where I am today. I've had so much support for my family, and I can't imagine doing this alone. Sure, I don't get out thrifting anymore, if I have the time to myself, I've been dedicating that to the gym or spend time with my family and friends. But I really never been happier or more excited for the future..
Happy Sunday, everyone. I hope you're all exploring new opportunities and pushing the noundaries you never thought you had within yourself.
