Thanks so much to staff and volunteers for inviting me to teach a silk scarf water marbling class today! I had 12 lovely students and everyone made something so unique and had so much fun. I had a great time, too! I managed to catch a little of the steam roller printing as well.
GB Arts is a truly amazing place to be!

Sarah McKeown has been a dedicated water marbling artist since 2018. Over the years, she has explored a wide range of surfaces, but her favourite mediums are silk scarves and fine art papers, where the fluid nature of marbling truly comes to life.

🫟 More marbling out in the wild!

📺 Watching a great series on Netflix called “Run Away” and one of the characters pulls out her notebook and what do we see but some beautiful water marbling!

(I’m only on episode 6 so if you’ve seen it please don’t give away the ending…this is a very interesting one!) 😁😲
