Special Threads Quality handmade clothing for children of all ages. I generally make everything to order but do try to offer ready made items as time allows.

Special Threads came to life out of my realization that there are so many parents out there who need access to local/Canadian made sensory friendly clothing as well as adaptive clothing for children with special needs. I absolutely love being able to make a family's life even the tiniest bit easier by providing an affordable option to a very necessary item. In the short time I have been in busines

Important Announcement!

So, the time has come for me to retire Special Threads.
I have been putting off making it official as it’s been my baby for almost 10 years 🩷

But life is very different now and there really isn’t time to create special items as a business. Thank you all for the amazing loyal support over all these years!
It’s been such a joy creating clothing for your kids and watching them grow up.

This page will likely stay up indefinitely as I am not quite ready to erase all history and memories of this beautiful adventure.
