Chikan is a traditional embroidery style from Lucknow, India, which is fully handmade by local artisans who are predominantly women. Coloured fabrics and Silk and cotton threads, are significantly used, employing the help of beads, sequins and mukeish embroidery (white flat silver strip embroidery) work on sarees, dupattas, pants /palazzos, tops and kurtas. Apart from Chikankari, Gopikas’s have collection of one of India's largest women’s fashion brands - W for Woman.
