This is an EO Brody 'Crinkle Glass' vase from around the 1960's. Mr Ernest Oscar Brody, known as EO, founded the EO Brody company in 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, to sell vases to wholesale florists, who would then sell them to retail florists. His company made a lot of milk glass and green items, including this fun crinkle glass, and they were inexpensive, selling for 50 cents to $1 at the time. They have become collectible and are easy to identify by the stamp on the bottom.
The company was bought by Lancaster in 1971, and in 2007 EO Brody and Indiana Glass were both bought from Lancaster Colony and merged with Anchor Hocking.

Hi guys, I sold this on Poshmark the other day. Yaay! :D And the best part is, I must have done a good packing job because it arrived in one piece, lol. I had it in my home for a few months and loved it, but it was time for me to pass it on and I'm so happy that I was able to send it to someone who really loves it and will enjoy it.

The facebook shop experience seems to be extremely buggy. I have uploaded 13 items, but the shop only displays 9. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, with some of the new items showing and some not, and the same for the older items. And even weirder, one of the items is repeatedly flagged as having some issues (to do with the picture) and not being visible, yet it is one of the ones that is visible. Seriously!
Here is one of my new items. 'Primitive' style in mahogany, acacia and teak were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. A lot of the mahogany was manufactured in Haiti, such as this bowl. One famous manufacturer was Fritz Mevs. This could possibly be one of their bowls, based on the shape, but it could be from another company as well. I thrifted a vintage English Brexton picnic hamper the other day for my personal use, and it's so cute, I have to share it with you. The one in the grass is mine. It is probably mid century, possibly from the 50s, but it could be from as late as the 80s. Whatever the date, it's adorable!

Picnics were very popular in the mid 20th century, reaching their peak in the 50s.
Here are some other gorgeous Brexton picnic hampers for you to enjoy, with dates. The earlier models were often hard cases with cutlery with bakelite handles, but could also be wicker baskets with plain steel cutlery. The later ones were wicker with plain cutlery. I'm looking forward to having some fun picnics this summer! 😄
