I’m so excited to finally share the latest design in the clothing line: the Pink House in St-Henri, a quiet landmark that has always drawn me in whenever I visit home. A pop of colour can change everything. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of change, beauty and joy are always around the corner.

After seven years since starting Arkiteektur, this project is alive again — more designs are coming, and I finally get to focus on it fully. Thank you for following along on this journey. 🌸🏠

The Pink House in St-Henri, Montréal, is a local landmark tucked near the Lachine Canal. Painted a bold, unapologetic pink, it stands out among the industrial and residential mix of the area. Though not officially a heritage site, it’s become a symbol of the neighborhood’s identity—one rooted in working-class history, resilience, and quiet rebellion against rapid gentrification.

The house is believed to date back to the early-to-mid 20th century and may have once been a worker’s residence or small commercial space. Its pink makeover, which appeared sometime in the early 2000s, was never publicly explained—but it quickly became iconic. Locals and visitors alike are drawn to it for its charm, its mystery, and its contrast against the muted palette of the city.

Artists often capture it as a symbol of individuality in an evolving urban landscape. It’s a little house that says a lot.

The new ECB building at Sonnemannstrasse 20 was completed in 2014. It consists of a north tower that’s 45 storeys tall, and the south tower stands at 43 storeys. They’re both connected by four platforms. The Amsterdam Treaty decided that the bank should be located in Frankfurt Am Main since England is no longer in the EU and Germany is very central.

A love for history, architecture and drawing inspired this clothing line. It aims to mostly celebrate the history of the artist's hometown, Montreal. Each garment has a historic fact about the place that the drawing depicts (Montreal facts are written in both French and English). The shirts are printed at an independent print shop in Montreal's St Henri neighbourhood, made sweatshop free in Toronto.
