This is a page for my new design company called Puppet. Its all my hobbies put into one job, art, photography and cinematography, snowboarding and skateboarding. Its based out of Muskoka that I want to appeal to all the different styles people have today.

🚨 video postponed 🚨
This weekend we were able to set up our newest addition to which has led us to posting the video next weekend 🫡 promise. We were not sure on if we were going to be able to haul this thing up with plans always needing to change for the better.. but we snuck in some time to get this playful thing in place.
The spot it’s on is where the mailbox originally sat last season. We weren’t expecting it to be such a hit so had thought of something a little bigger but in the same boat. This battleship is meant to be a polejam type feature with the option to hit just the top tube. The snow base we keep on the flat of our rail plaza is about 8 inches to a foot. Bigger snowfalls are something harder to handle with keeping the base the same with having features dug into the ground, or ones like this one we won’t want to be moving in the winter lol. But with that base and a little bit of a lip following the slope/a bit steeper of the up of the battleship for the top tube to be optimized. Most of the extra snow from clearing out the plaza was dumped off the one side where we weren’t doing anything with but now it will go in and fill up some distance of how high the yellow rail stands. That’s because theflat has been extended 7 feet out with using the berm that was made from the extra dirt from last summers project. We put it all under the battleship which has made a bit of a drop off from it toward the yellow rail. We might come back to make that drop off more gradual and re slope the landing a bit more to give the slope to flat more curve so it won’t be so abrupt riding out. Can’t wait to see what gets done on this! Hopefully it’s as big of a hit as the mailbox 🤞 Thank you for lending your machine 🙏 and dyllon and Matt for some help. The feedback from different angles and balancing the rail out made it go by so much quicker then if he was alone. Solid effort guys thank you, now bring on the snow ❄️

Nothing like a finished timeline 👌
Edit is done, with music in the mix, so happy that we are ready to post this thing tomorrow ! Apologies for the wait riders, between work and getting a flat tire this week did not work out for editing 🫡
But it’s done now and everybody should be excited for a Saturday post 🤘 thank you everyone who held the camera, clicked the record button and threw down tricks 🔥 such a fun weekend

We haven’t had a lot of time to dive into editing our last resort session with aka with a few friend clips in the mix 🫡
Finally turned 4 hours of clips into a sectioned up 35 minute timeline 💪 almost done !

Lights are turning on this weekend ! 💡

Still going strong 💪 the base to is hard ice right now so it’s holding during that warm weather we just had 🙌
Finally got around to putting up the lights ! Thanks to my buddy dyllon wills for holding the ladder 🤘 two 50w lights over top of the rails at about 15 feet off the ground, and two 100w lights on the log ramp about 20 to 25 feet off the ground. That’s four of the six we have already. The other two are 100w lights for the top of the cliff where the log ramp is, and the other is for the landing area after the red rails (kink and 20 foot down tube). I’m looking to grab two more 50w lights for sure for where the yellow down rail and mailbox is right now. But that might turn into four lights, the second two will be to light up the new run in we have been using for the mailbox and corrugated tube, and the other one from the set would be to light up the out tube. Can’t wait to have this running, as well as the proper outlets for inside the cabin 🤘 no more extension cords for using the appliances lol

Today the mailbox got fixed up with both lips 👌 and the corrugated had to be pushed back a bit to make some prep space between landing of the mailbox and the takeoff of the tube 🤘 hopefully it flows just as good as everything else has guesstimated 🙌

Maple valley main lines!
We took some photos of the main line coming off the log ramp before the rain. The only reason we haven’t been using the main line is because we need the log ramp to have a solid amount of snow on it or we will push the snow through the logs. It’s strong and works great, but we need a good base before it’s useable.
Coming off the log ramp and onto what we call the plaza (our flat area before the rails) you have the choice of our kink, our down tube and now we’ve added a little flat tube to the right of the kink. It was originally going to be the ender feature to the main line as a cannon, but we’ve been busy and added other things to the mix 🤘
Following the line of the new flat tube, you will land and ride under the swing set, where we will make an optional ollie bar from the two outside swing chains and a 2x6. The ride out of the ollie bar will lead you into the bowl area, explained a bit lower.
Using the original line of the red rails (kink and down tube) you will land and ride towards another flat tube that we will pile snow to make a spine. We’ve set it between two trees on an angle from the direction the rails are in to make a small bowl area. Straight ahead of the ride out of the red rails there is a natural ridge that also helps make up the bowl area (which we will be taking photos of next). The landing of the red rails has been dropped down maybe two feet from cutting out the four wheeler trail that was at the end of the red rails which made a small curb like landing last year.
After the spine we have one of our favourite projects, the mail box. It’s going to be a FUN ender to the line. Nothing to serious like the rest of the park, but instead of another rail feature we thought it would be cool to have something super playful to end the run with.
We have two more areas to showcase next but this was enough of a read for most lol. Thank you and for your time this summer helping with the moving of the dirt 🤘 Means a lot guys
