It’s hard to put into words what the last nine years have meant to me. What started as MeMi Collective back in 2017 grew into Genskee Apparel, but the heart has always stayed the same: a love for creating comfort.

Designing Canadian-made clothing that has traveled to bodies all over the world has been one of the most fulfilling journeys. To those who have been here since the very beginning and to those who joined along the way - thank you. Your support, your shares and our conversations have meant more to me than you’ll ever know.

As of April 30th, Genskee will be closing its "doors". While it’s time for me to move on to a new adventure, I am carrying all the connections and memories made here with me.

Thank you for absolutely everything. It’s been an honour to dress you. 🤍

Join us for the fashion social event of the season! ✨
Experience a night of inclusive, sustainable fashion, featuring runway looks from local favourites and . The evening will include entertainment from local burlesque artist - Ellamental, drag queen - Baby Blue, live DJ's spinning all night, food truck eats from Van Isle Poutinerie, bar service provided by Travel Bar and more!

Guests are invited to come as their fiercest selves - wear your favorite outfit, express your personal style and strike a pose for a glamour shot (by cash donation). Funk Revival and Genskee Apparel will be onsite so you can try on your favourite runway looks, shop and support fashion that celebrates every body and every identity.
