I get asked often if our smallest size (that fits 0-3 months) is actually meant to be worn, or if it’s more of a novelty.
This small size is actually what got me started in making wool booties. My tiny preemie baby was 5 months old and nothing would stay on her feet - not even socks. It was September and I knew cooler days were approaching and I knew I needed to figure something out that was warm and would actually stay on her feet!
So here we are, November has just started and we have a small one month old (yesterday) and once again her feet are tiny and nothing stays on them except our booties 💞💞

Sibling sets with a newborn on the one are one of my most favourite things to make. I love knowing that the older sibling will be reminded that they are just as important as the new baby. For them to compare the size of their feet to what will be the size of the new babies feet. It’s just magical.

I didn’t have any immediate projects last night (rare!) and my hands were itching to have purpose!
