Friends for friends! Very excited for a change and new small shop venture! Now as crocheted creations!! By Alexandra Faust

These 2 highland cows needed a space on the gram 🤗

-Pics 2 & 3 are the twins (5 months) that own these cows.
-Pic 4 is an updated pic at 9 months!

We decided to go with crocheted eyes to keep them extra safe for these young babes 🤗

What type of eyes do you prefer on your amigurumi: plastic safety eyes or crocheted?

Fun fact: when I first made this page on Facebook I was sewing! It all started with the yellow emo dude named Stan 💔 I would later make some “creepy friends” for loved ones and by request :) Unfortunatley sewing went on the back burner for a few years after some mental health struggles. There was no energy for me to take out some fabric, cut it out and then take out my sewing machine. I did miss the creativity.
Then crocheting started early 2020 for me. It quickly became a relaxing hobby and destressor which has helped my mental health 🤗 Although sewing has a special place in my heart, the portability of crocheting has me reaching for yarn and a hook more often than taking out my sewing machine. I love working with my hands and seeing how unique every creation is, even when following a pattern!
How do you get creative??

Snake friend! 🐍
This dude was a fun make. An albino snake stitched to stay coiled up with rattles inside for a bit of noise to engage baby. The eyes are crocheted and embroidered for extra safety and that smirk shows that this guy is a friendly snake!
What kind of animal would you like to see next?? 🐍 🤗

Just a wee griffin hanging out in the grass 🦅🦁

I’m slowly making my way through ’s book “A Crochet World if Creepy Creatures and Cryptids”! They make fun quicker crafts when I’m at a stand still with some bigger projects. Such great lil’ monsters and mythical beings that will melt your heart 😍 Do I have a soft spot for typically unloved creatures? Yes 🙈🙈

Snorlax takes a trip to the dentist!

We love getting pics of your Friends on adventures! Dental hygiene is very important for all, including this sleepy Pokémon 😴💙 Looks like he took his check-up like a champ!

A moment in time 📸

These minis were made with reference to some beautiful engagement photos 🤗 The pictures featured our beautiful west coast beach scenery, so we had to include a purple starfish ⭐️

Some think that the term starfish is misleading since these creatures are echinoderms, not fish. Some refer to them as sea stars.

Oh hi!

Thought I’d pop by as I take a break from learning how to balance books (currently learning about bookkeeping 🤗)

Here’s one of the latest mini couples I’ve made that’s headed across the strait! The Strait of Georgia that is!

Although I love getting a gift bag together to get friends out for local orders, it’s so fun to bring a package to the post office!

What’s important for you to see in a small business? Pretty packaging/labels or recycled/biodegradable packaging?? Why not a bit of both??!

Ok, I guess it’s back to the books for me!

Sometimes your kiddo has a birthday party to go to and you have 2 days to crank out something like this… but then you realize you actually misread the invite and the party is in 1 day 🙈🙈
A late birthday present is still better than no present! Right??! 😅😅

Oh hi! I realize it’s been a hot minute 🙈 Turns out becoming a full time student makes less time for your hobby business 🤪

Since the end of February I’ve been rediscovering how I study and remember information 😅 It’s been quite a doozy! But I’m still here, working on some ongoing projects in between momming and school. Ooo boy, it sure is a balancing act!

Here’s a sweet set requested by one of the coolest new aunts out there for her beautiful baby niece 🥰 I love the lavender and turquoise colours with the grey on the elephant. And the wee giraffe rattles 🤗❤️

Thank you for your patience to those waiting on their friends! They’re coming along!
