Just in time for Valentines Day! It was one of my New Year resolutions to list my vintage items. If any of you collect vintage you’ll understand what I mean. It’s finally here. I’ve been holding onto this blouse/skirt combo for at least a year. When I found it I literally held it with all my might because I knew what I’d found was truly a one of a kind. When I showed my friend she remarked how it reminded her of and she’s absolutely right. The quality is superb, the material is raw and it’s a perfect timeless pair. Just came back from an epic thrifting shop. As some of you can see I have a tenancy to jump back and forth between my bow tie business & thrifting. Well today I decided to stop & have a look and wow, am I ever glad! So many amazing finds, this incredible mid calf skirt being one of them. I’m a little sad I found it so close to Christmas, especially for my American customers but that just means my Canadians are in luck! This vintage tartan beauty is made in Sweden & has a 28” waist & 32” long. DM me to purchase.

While on vacation I also did a tour of the Okanagan thrift shops. When I spotted this beauty, I snatched it up soooooo fast. It’s covered in rust, peeling enamel black paint & is nothing but complete beauty. What’s it’s actual purpose? It’s a coal scuttle, likely from the late 1800’s/ early 1900’s. What could you use it for? Anything! would add character to any room and it’s the perfect place to stash items. @ New Westminster, British Columbia
