✨Fresh off the blocking board and She is SOOO ready for spring 🌸if this looks familiar, that’s because I’ve knit this once before in yellow. But I used a heavier yarn and wanted one in a lighter weight and more breathable yarn for those warmer day that are hopefully soon to come 🤞🏻

Blocked project 1 of 2. Needed some more socks as we gear up to cooler weather. These were rushed because I realized I was running low on knit socks since a bunch of mine had officially worn out last year after wearing them for years! I love how much wear I can get out of hand made socks 😊

The stitch definition on this yarn is perfection 🤩 also, real talk for a sec - These took me sooo long to finish because it seems I had lost my knitting mojo… sh*t happens lol but I’ve started a sweater in anticipation for fall among this 30+ degree weather 🥵🥵🥵🥵

Had another successful day being at the festival yesterday, and somehow managed not come home with too crazy of a haul, which is both a win and a loss 😂

🧶I was able to meet up with the sweet and talented Debbie from at her trunk show today at 🥰 it’s always a pleasure talking yarn with her and of course I had to add to my stash; I mean what else would you do at a yarn store?
4 skeins of “Gold Rush” in Tweed DK - 85% Superwash Merino/15% Donegal Tweed. Annnnnd just so happens I found the perfect sweater pattern for this yarn earlier today, so my next project is being cast on this weekend 😁 We love when the stars align ⭐️

Another WIP off the needles 🙌 I finally have the lightweight summer capelet I’ve always wanted. Now I just need some slightly cooler weather, a bonfire to sit by and some marshmallows 🪵🔥🪵

Making progress on my year of socks and WIPs. Slow but steady 😂 I should finally have another project off the needles by tonight and ready to block by tomorrow! also…. I should probably invest in some fancy wooden sock blockers at this point, eh?

She is officially 100% completed with the help of these two spindles. 😍🧶

Spun in 100g of WOTA roving in the colour “Salsa Heather”
I tried to spin as consistently as possible, but some spots are a bit thicker than others. That said, this came out to be mostly a lace weight and roughly 460 yards.

I can’t get over the dimension that the heathered colours of yellow and green give to this yarn. Stunning. I can’t wait to use it, BUT ALSO… is it too pretty to use? 😂😂

💯 yepp - 100% hand spun and plied 😮‍💨 Is ready to use? Hah 😂 nope! Next steps, the transition from spindle to niddy noddy, rinse, dry, wind, knit. Wondering if I’ll use this up by the end of the year 🤔but honestly… how pretty is this?! Thanks to WOTA roving in Salsa Heather (a discontinued colourway - yes this project is THAT OLD 😂) so worth the wait and work!

I have been OBSESSED with spinning lately. So much so that my knitting has actually taken a back seat, which is unheard of 😱 In an effort to stash-bust some of my yarn this year I also really want to finish some of my ongoing spinning projects that have been on hold for many years 🙈 but still it has not stopped me from looking for new OOAK spindles like this one to add to my collection! This spindle with these rolags.. I mean…. I might just be starting yet another spinning project. You can’t stop me, I’m off the rails. Tell me you don’t love being here 😂😂
