The Robinson Huron Waawiindamaagewin is proud to announce the upcoming 176th Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850 Gathering.

This year’s Gathering will be co-hosted by the Shawanaga First Nation and Wasauksing First Nation, and will take place within the community of Wasauksing First Nation.

🌱 2026 Theme:
“E’Shkiniigijig Bi-Bzigwiiwag” — “The Youth Are Rising”

This year’s theme reflects the growing responsibility, leadership, voices, and strength of our youth as they continue to rise within our communities and carry forward the knowledge, teachings, and responsibilities of our ancestors.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to begin booking accommodations early, as availability within the Parry Sound area is expected to fill quickly for this event.

Our official Gathering website is expected to launch in June, where registration details, event updates, accommodations information, programming, and additional announcements will be shared.

We look forward to gathering together once again in the spirit of Treaty, relationship, culture, and community.
