Hey Market Friends,
This is not the post we want to make today, however the market will closed today and tomorrow.
Unfortunately Andrew and Brogan were involved in a serious motor accident, after being struck by a vehicle that ran a four way stop.
We would like to thank EHS, Cape Breton Regional and Local Fire Services for their support and compassion. Brogan and Andrew both were sent to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Andrew sustained a head injury, including an concussion, dilated pupil, and will be seeing a specialist today regarding concerns of a detached retina. This type of small tissue damage and injury is certainly not what he needed so soon after his recent hospitalization. As you can imagine this has affected his other aliments we are still working to manage and get under control.
Brogan unfortunately was on the side of the vehicle that was struck and was pinned in the car initially. Brogan has a severe concussion, along with some extreme pain in his neck shoulders, and back.
The vehicle is likely to be a total loss, and as you can all imagine this is absolutely not the set backs Andrew or Brogan have needed. It’s definitely been a struggle trying to get the shop back on track after Andrew ICU visit.
For the next couple of days these guys will both be resting as recommended by their medical providers, and to attend additional appointments. We will update everyone for opening Thursday.
When it rains, it’s pours… literally and figuratively at this point.
Thank you for all your understanding, and we’re all praying to the universe that this is the final stage of life lessons this seasons.
