I am so incredibly lucky to get to do this every day.
For the past 5 years, I have been a part of the bridal industry, helping brides find their dream dress. And have loved every minute of it.
My very first bride I ever helped, on my first day in the industry, said yes to her dress. I will never forget feeling emotional as I saw tears in everyone’s eyes and joy on their faces. I knew in that moment that I had found my calling. Every time I see a bride realize that she has found her dress, I am just as happy as she is. It truly is a unique experience with each person, and I am honored to be trusted with this decision. I am so privileged to get to be a part of the most special day of your life, and I never take that for granted.
My biggest piece of advice is to be honest with your stylist. I am here to make your dreams come true, so don’t hesitate to tell me if something is out of your budget, or you want to change something about an otherwise perfect dress. But on the flip side, also tell me when you feel beautiful, confident, and can see yourself walking down the aisle.
Most importantly, be honest with yourself and trust your gut. I can see it on a bride’s face when she knows she has found the one. This is your moment, and when you start to see your vision come true, it is my job to help you complete it. Because at the end of the day, you won’t remember everyone else’s opinions, or whether you tried every single option. You’ll remember feeling incredible as you walk towards your fiancé to start your forever.
