The undun studio will be permanently closing at the end of this month. The Wendel Gallery, where undun resides, will be undergoing renovations. With much heartbreak, it is now time to say goodbye to this sweet space.
One of my first dreams as a young girl was owning my own boutique. I imagined a space filled with community, but more importantly an inclusive space for women to shop comfortably and confidently. This little space took me through a career change, heartbreak, health complications and challenged me to grow beyond my comfort zone. It was my safe space to retreat to. I tested my creative limits, and the struggles of owning a brick and mortar taught me lessons I'll forever appreciate and continue to apply to my business.
Over the years, customers turned into friends. I witnessed women exchange numbers, offer compliments, uplift one another and inspire eachother. That's more than I ever could have asked for. For everyone that has walked through these studio doors, I truly thank you.
With all this being said, rest assured undun isn't going anywhere. We are on a waitlist for another space on Granville Island. But while we wait, this time will allow me to dive back into my online presence, and get back to working with creatives and doing photo shoots, maybe the occasional pop up!
