We love our couples! Always such a fun process as they help and encourage one another, and end up with their happy outcomes. This is Karen and Bruce. She was getting new sunnies and the Fizz 2 was her choice. We love this art deco inspired piece for its exquisite design details, and on Karen it is perfect. Size, shape, fit are all in proportion for sunglasses; and the colouration was made for her. Full coverage, great protection, and all the style. Bruce selected this modern, modified aviator from , and we love everything about it on him. The frame structure is sharp and angular, but slightly softened by the matte two tone greens that give it its definition. The colour complements Bruce’s overall colouring, while it enhances his eyes. The frames angles follow his features perfectly, with the colours adding just enough contrast for his skin tone, all of which draw you to him. Well done you two!

The variegated blues are fabulous with his overall colouring, his eyes, and are a great contrast with his white hair. The shape and size are in perfect balance with his features; and they give him a stylish, contemporary vibe. Transition lenses up their functionality, and further define their shape. We rely on this company for their extensive collection of petite fit frames; providing our industry, and our clients with beautifully crafted, handmade product - designed with them in mind. Petite fit frames are all about proportion for the small face. Balance, fit and visual weight. No adult male or female should ever have to wear children’s frames. (a sad story we have heard for years) We love the Alfy on Donna. Both the shape, and the colour complement her features perfectly. Fair Diana in her eyewear update. We love this pink two tone model on this lovely, petite fit, client. Perfect with her complexion and overall colouring, this frame does everything right. It adds volume and style without bulk, adds soft definition to her features and adds a subtle, but brightening element to her lovely face. We love that Bruce chose such a bold and colourful frame for his update. This Fez titanium frame, sturdy and reliable, will serve Bruce for years. The visual weight, and brightness of the blue indicates to the viewer - a man with confidence and self assurance; and perhaps a little mystery. The size and structure of this model on Bruce’s face is in perfect balance to his overall features, and gives him a contemporary and distinctive look. Bravo.

We are loving Joanne in her eyewear update. The frame Tracings from is one of our favourites. It provides the wearer with a unique look without being too glasses forward. In Joanne’s case, the duo colour combination of the ‘frame within a frame’ flatters her complexion, adds contrast, and the brown highlights her dark chestnut eyes. The bright blue is unexpected and adds overall visual brightness. The frame is in proportion to her features and gives her a youthful open eye. There is no overlooking this fabulous couple! Colour is the order of the day; and embraced wholeheartedly! Susan, a longtime client, brought her friend Peter to us for new glasses; and to help with his decision making. Peter selected two pairs; and Susan was unable to resist the Breezy from for its striking colouration. In the meantime Peter chose the Oromo 2 from , and this terrific frame. So much fun assisting these two! Both clients with frames that make an impression, and that match their vivaciousness. Winning looks all around. Bravo!!!

When you find a frame that was made for you! I swear the colourists had Meghan’s photo when they designed the Loquat in this colour. With her red hair, green eyes and golden colouring - this is perfection. The shape and size are in proportion to her features, and the frames delicacy adds just enough, without taking anything away from her lovely face. Meghan looks like a luminous summer day. Beautiful.

Another beautiful day, another beautiful client. Annette has curated quite a collection of sunglasses over the years; and she is all smiles in her newest pair. The Fizz from is an outstanding piece. There isn’t anything lovelier than a sunny spring day here in BC. Unless of course it’s Marilyn with a fresh bouquet and her smashing new sunglasses. This iconic brand has regained a whole new following with its updated releases - and its classic reissues. Beautifully designed, and crafted with precision in Germany; they need to be seen - then admired. On Marilyn, this model is architecturally perfect. Not too heavy, just enough signature gold to highlight the black, and all the angles needed for lift, feature balance and style. Elegant, chic and on Marilyn - stunning!
