Testing your stitches on a fabric scrap gives you the chance to adjust your settings, check your stitch quality, and make sure you're happy with the results, before sewing on your project. It's a simple habit that can help save fabric, reduce frustration, and give you better results every time.

Come sew outside with me as I create this beautiful Bee Kind garden wind streamer using my Janome MC6700P! There's nothing better than spending time in nature, listening to the birds, enjoying the fresh air, and creating something beautiful at the same time.

In this tutorial, I'll show you how I transformed simple supplies into a charming piece of outdoor décor featuring honeycomb fabric, adorable bees, and flowing ribbons. I'll also share some tips for sewing outdoors, keeping your machine safe, and making the most of your creative space.

Machine used: Janome Memory Craft 6700P (MC6700P)

I hope this project inspires you to take your sewing machine outside and enjoy some creative time in the sunshine!
