When we first started , the goal was always to grow the brand and to somehow amalgamate from a small batch retail to a brick and mortar retail! Some things didnt work out the way we wanted, but some exceed our wildest expectations. We are so very proud to announce our brick and mortar venture; dubbed .mojo ! Not content by creating and selling only our wares, Maker's Mojo aims to bring an eclectic and exemplary group of handmakers and their wares to the marketplace.
We wanted to thank...YOU; our customers, for always being so very supportive, appreciative and providing us with the passion to keep creating,
Our Retail partners for your patience and understanding us not being able to restock on time, we would also like to thank for your help in inspiring our name, Elaine .portdalhousie for your guidance, for your help with designing Maker's Mojo's logo, and for inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone! ; without you this vision would never have borne fruit. Your eye for details and structure helped me to see the store in ways I've always wanted but could not articulate! To our lovely, creative and most importantly patient Makers. With your support we hope to establish the shop as a mainstay! To my Dad for always being a believer! For dropping everything on thursday to catch a flight from London, England on Friday, only to head home on Monday after setting up half the shop. I'd be lost without you! My In-Laws for being there! Your help with the kids, your patience with me while all this has been happening, and lastly for keeping me fed, so I have the energy to keep moving! You truly are my tribe, and with out you i would never get anything finished. for the morning visits, watching the kids and keeping them entertained, and for the all the tims and coca cola! My sister Sabrina for flying in to help; even when nothing was ready! For really making my summer a memorable one.
