Blue and white will forever be one of our favourites. A few patterned pillows, a pretty mug, stacked books and plenty of white mixed in to keep everything feeling light.

There’s something very satisfying about watching a space come together one little layer at a time.

Tara and Charlotte styled this sideboard with a mix of old and new. A beautiful mirror, artwork, flowers, lighting and a few little treasures to finish it off.

Sometimes all it takes is finding that one piece you love, then having a little fun with everything around it.

We’re big believers that the things you use every day should be the things you love looking at too.

The mug you reach for every morning. The little dish beside the sink. Pretty linens for the table. And yes, tiny gold bee spoons that make serving something more cheerful. 🐝 Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make everyday feel a little more special.

And we have a whole table of them waiting for you at the store. We’re open until 5pm everyday.

One of our favourite things about hand-painted furniture is that you get to choose. Tell us the colour you love and we can custom paint a piece to work beautifully in your home.

We used a little AI to imagine this vintage sideboard in a few different shades, but every piece we paint is done by hand, right here at My Back Shed.

Now the important question… which colour would you choose? 💕

Furniture with rounded edges is a great choice when you’re decorating a small space. It keeps things feeling open and gives you a little more room to move around without worrying about hard corners.

We especially love this vintage sideboard for its curves, but the mix of storage and display space makes it even better.
