Another outfit to show. This little beauty is being added to the Lynde House Museum & Warren General Store costume collection. The jacket is called a Spanish Jacket. It’s been put together with tone on tone antique lace and black twill. The shirt is a Garabaldi, also with antique lace. Come see its debut (with a proper skirt) at this weekend

Last but not least …Karen’s bed gown. This outfit was developed from the same pattern as Julie’s. I lengthened the peplum and dipped the neck further and left the sleeve length same as the original. Karen’s costume will
Be worn with a chemise, socks and moccasins too.

Okey kids…. We’ve been rather up to our ears in fluffy dress projects. Nothing to show yet, but very soon. In the meantime, Ms Julie and Karen needed bed gowns for interpreting the late 1700s. Here’s Julie’s. She’s going to wear a chemise underneath with white socks, moccasins and an apron.

I’m back!
