On their way this morning ❤️ These two little leatherback hatchlings woke up late and were the last hatchlings out of a nest belonging to Charlotte (adopted by Sharon G). Charlotte has nested 19 times at Sandy Point since she was first tagged in 2009, and we saw her four times this year. This nest had a great hatchout overnight and now these two little ones will join their siblings in the Caribbean Sea.

A Beach Monkey Life State of Mind

From the heart of Latitude Zero to the deep blue of Kicker Rock, Galapagos Islands — this is a Beach Monkey Life state of mind.

These Beach Monkeys experienced Ecuador in style — from the historic heights of Quito, the capital city in the Andes, to standing at Latitude Zero at Mitad del Mundo, and venturing into the lush Amazon rainforest of Tena.

Then came the Galapagos — a once-in-a-lifetime escape filled with giant tortoises, open-ocean views, sea turtles, and the unforgettable thrill of deep-sea snorkeling at legendary Kicker Rock, where the Pacific turns electric blue and nature takes center stage.
