I made another Lucy Train Case and it turned out pretty cute 🍓😍 if I do say so myself. I made the large size but changed up the interior slip pocket for a zipper pocket. Diane’s pattern () is very well written and quite easy to modify to suit your own needs. This would make a great project bag or travel bag for your accessories, jewelry and makeup.

Anyone else find the Overnight sized Oxbow too large to photograph easily? It’s a big beauty for sure but this pattern by makes one fantastic tote bag 😍. I use mine pretty much every time I travel and I love how much you can stuff into it and still get it under the airplane seat in front of me. I always add a luggage sleeve to the back side for ease of transport through the airport too. This custom beauty is for my sister. She wanted longer, over the shoulder handles instead of a crossbody strap, so who am I to say no 😆.

Love me some 😍. I’ve had this Achroma paint splatter fabric for a while now but those cheeky tigers on the inside are definitely one of my all time favourites. This bag is a custom Ferris crossbody but I also have some premade options available on my website.

Yesterday, I finished this throw quilt for my sister 😘 and raced outside to take a few photos while the sun was out. I’m glad I did because it is quite dreary here today.

The pattern is called Resilient by and I purchased all the amazing William Morris fabrics at - their selection is awesome if you are a Morris fan.

My last two Sequoia Satchels are packed up, ready for tomorrow’s market. My fingers are crossed 🤞 that the rain will hold off until closing time as it sucks to load and unload in the rain. But once inside the Aberdeen Pavilion, it’s sure to be a great event, as always. In the meantime, I hope those of you in the Ottawa area are enjoying our little burst of spring (finally) today…I have my windows open enjoying the breeze, even if the double digit temps will be short lived.

The Saori Drawstring Pouch pattern by launched today. I made all three sizes using the Tender Collection by and .shaw. I love how the pouches open totally wide but the drawstring cinches them into a cute ball 😍. The large size comfortably fit nine 50g balls of yarn, the medium five and the small fit one ball perfectly. The pattern is well written and perfect for beginners and experienced bag makers alike. I really enjoyed making this Sequoia Satchel. I tried some new-to-me waxed canvas from and it did not disappoint 😍. I have not used waxed canvas often in the past because the versions I have purchased elsewhere gummed up the feed dogs on my sewing machine and tended to leave a sticky residue on my hands. But I have to say that Ashley’s waxed canvases is awesome. No residue on my machine or hands 😁. I have two more satchels on my cutting table and all three will be coming to Easter Edition with me! I hope to see you there.
