I’m not sure how to start this message…

I created Tailorbear Creations October 2016 when I was overwhelmed with how to keep my little warm in her car seat but more importantly safe. Through the years I introduced new products to the line and expanded my business from carseat ponchos to blankets, burp clothes, hot/cold packs, I spy bags, kids aprons, paper flowers, shirts, hats, masks and more. At one point Tailorbear Creations was in 5 different stores around the city and an online store that was booming!

Like many others when Covid hit I shifted to making masks.. thousands of masks in fact, but it felt wrong to charge for something that was so needed by so many; so I asked for donations and started collecting for the local food bank to help others in need. Truth be told… it was shortly after that when I lost my passion for sewing.

With that being said.. I have decided to take a break from orders from Tailorbear Creations until further notice and just focus on spending time with family and hopefully by stepping back I can find the passion I once loved (many project I want to sew for myself and loved ones.). Maybe I will find my love for sewing once again!

I am so grateful for all of your support over the past 5 years I could not have done it without you!

Also.. I use our ponchos year round- honestly great in summer on cooler nights around the campfire and then of course made for the car seats to keep your little safe and warm 🥰

Are you like me and always wear your hair up? I love that I can wear mine with my bun through the top 🙌

*note-no Pom Pom available as that’s where the hair goes through. Or you add a Pom Pom and wear your hair down because Pom poms are just damn cute😍*

These are very stretchy and they do include a Pom Pom.

Well it’s Christmas Eve and while I sit here (with a glass of wine- and ya I am fully aware it’s only 3pm 😜) thinking of this past year I would like to thank all of those who supported me in some form or another through purchases, Facebook tags, comments and likes it means the world.

This year was quite different- I never would have thought I would be sewing masks but I am proud that I was able to make over 3000 masks (many donated to those in need) and then raise money for the local food bank! If I never have to sew a mask again I would be ok with that!

Anyways- thank you again family, friends, customers and just those that have stuck by me ❤️
