Gailene is the designer, artist and maker behind Designs by Gailene. I design and make everything. As much as possible I start with materials that I already have and I am acquiring 'new' materials all the time. I make clothing, costumes, artworks, sculptures, props and accessories. y hands try to oblige it with skills and talents developed throughout an often interesting life. I am also a dancer and dance teacher. The style of dance and have chosen to perform is Steampunk Belly Fusion. It's a fusion of Belly Dance and Tribal Dance techniques with the music and aesthetics of Steampunk. I also perform and teach classic Belly Dance. My newest project is to offer private instruction and small workshops (2-6 participants) in Theatrical Dance Fusion. Telling a story with dance in a new, fun and entertaining manner.
