Meet: Dancing in the Moonlight
-
I’ve done a couple pick ups from the Crazyhorse in my day
-
Friday/Saturday nights are sure things
-
Can never forget about classic Wednesday nights when the mechanical bull comes to play
-
But on this night we were on the tail end of a Saturday marathon
-
These 4 were starting the next part of the adventure
-
Get home from the CH
-
My friend in the front was sober
-
The others, not so much
-
Let me be clear, I love the rides with people who are “in one”
-
I’ve also learned to stay clear of McDonald’s after closing
-
So the girls asked to hit up McDon’s
-
Which at this point of my Uber career I say
-
“I’m ok with trying but only if less than 5 cars in the line”
-
Luckily for them we had beat the post 2am crowd
-
As mentioned, my three amigos in the back had a couple wobbly pops
-
We order the food
-
The 3 amigos stagger out of the car and start dancing around the pick up window
-
Some hands touched the ground
-
Some hips were shaking
-
Someone yelled “Turn it up! Turn it up!” in a voice I’d rather not here again
-
I believe one of the dancers had in fact never danced before
-
My sober friend and I took it all in
-
I apologized on behave off sober people for the unfortunate 66% passing grade on the dance moves
-
One clearly had gone low to the floor before
-
One was very vocally loud
-
One had Moves like Jagger but the opposite of what you want to see
-
One sat back and took it all in
-
And I notched another story
-
Nothing wrong with any of that
-
I can’t say for sure that the moonlight was actually out that night
-
But at the very least the stars lined up to bring these 4 my way
-
