Sometimes you just need a little extra guidance and now, we won't come to your house and help you with your clothes but we know someone who will!

You could also come in and pick Skippy's brain to see what she learned and how she can help you pick out some things from the shop!

Let us know if you want her name or maybe we should do a stylist event and bring her in!

It just took a little styling but we got Deb on board with the Dog Walker sweaters from Eco Verde.

These are great oversized sweaters that you will wear all the time.

I don't have a dog and I'm in these all fall and winter because they're so darn comfortable! and they look great when styled.

Deb is wearing them with the Charlie B animal printed pant and I'm happy with my Happy Green and flip flops.

I'm one of those who will be in flip flops until the snow flies but what do you think?

Just a little insight as to what's happening in the shop right now buying for spring. It's a little stressful.

I get stressed two times a year, buying for spring and buying for fall.

So I take myself to the movies and I turn my brain off for a couple of hours a week but then it's back to the grind.

Let us know if you're interested in any of this behind the curtain conversations because it's pretty interesting but I'm never sure if people want to know!

We like to tease but we will absolutely miss Laura.

You'll see her pop in here and there with fashion shows and we'll have to introduce you to our next Wild Women who's joined out team.

Now that we're officially into September we're really going in on the transitional clothing.

We've got these great new pieces in from Multiples, great for that extra layer in the mornings and evenings.

Now, I know it won't be for everyone but for those of you who it is for it's going to look fantastic.

And if you're thinking, "oh, well it's a bit too early" go check out our new blog on Winter Whites because we're starting trés early! You have to to lock in your sizes!

We're getting so many new collections that it's hard to keep them all straight!

But here we're wearing Habitat, the new reversible animal print vest.

This is a great transition piece. Perfect for those early morning walks or if you're going camping this long weekend.

Now, we've done it with a Foxcroft white blouse, but it could really go with anything. I think it would be trés chic over a turtleneck but go a bit more boho over something with some colour.

But what do you think?

We're getting excited about transition pieces and these little teal jackets are exactly that. Transition pieces!

And that aren't black! Because we just can't start with the black already! It's only August!!

So come in and grab yourself a little jacket or vest to wear for the long weekend. It's going to be perfect sitting outside drinking a coffee weather!

You really can wear this set all the way into the fall and definitely if you’ve got travel plans for the winter.

I remember when I was taking my kids to school and the mad dash to get everyone out the door, of course you're the last one to get ready, but this set has you feeling put together without the headache.

We do love our Habitat but they're a bigger fit so if you can, come into the shop and try it on! Or size down if you're ordering on the web.

Are you a winter white gal?

It's one of those tricky "rules" in fashion that I love to play with.

I think it's just so elegant.

Deb, not so much.

But, anyway! What do you think and when is it too early for Winter White?

I think we're still in Summer Whites right now and these little sweaters are great for that transition weather we've been having.

You know in the morning where it's just a bit too nippy to run out in just your t-shirt?
