Konnichiwa everyone. I hope your Saturday is going well. I just finished packaging the new Silk Room Studio Incense, made in house. Air dried slowly. long burn, low smoke, minimal packaging. Two customer favorites, Kyoto Cherry Rose and Sandalwood and Amber. Two new scents, Black Rock a nice masculine scent and Ocean Breeze. 10 sticks per package. $5.00 a package. The Studio is open tomorrow 12:00-5:00.

Konnichiwa everyone. I had the best afternoon yesterday dressing this lovely young woman in her Furisode Kimono. We didn't have all of the necessary layers, but we made it work! There are so many layers and ties that hold this Kimono together. This special Kimono is worn by 20-year-old girls for their coming out party.

Konnichiwa everyone. This week I'm promoting these beautiful, appliqued wall hangings by a local textile artist. There is so much work in these pieces. Every detail is amazing. There are three of these beauties. I'll post them separately. That way each individual piece can be appreciated. These are being offered at $125.00 each. Well worth considering all of the hours it took to create them. The measurements are 32"X15". The Studio is open 12:00-5:00 Sun. Mon. Tues.

Konnichiwa everyone. Happy B.C. Day! Feeling very blessed to be on the Island right now. New to the Studio and also NEW. Never worn this set is called Samue. It is a casual two piece set to lounge around in at home. Unlike its cousin the Jinbei. This set is for all seasons. Whereas the Jinbei are for Summer only. This is 100% cotton with a nice soft texture to the fabric. The tag says XL however it would be a more accurate large, small or a small, Medium. This is being offered at $95.00. Konnichiwa everyone. Hot day on the Island today. Just arrived in Studio Tabi Socks! So comfortable. If you've never worn Tabi's before you'd be amazed at just how comfortable they are. I wear them all of the time.
The thicker colored socks are $10.00 per pair. The plain whites are $7.00 per pair and the lacy ones are also $7.00 per pair. The Studio is open Sun, Mon, and Tues. 12:00-5:00 or by appointment.

Konnichiwa everyone. Beautiful day on the Island today. Just arrived from Japan this beautiful Naga Juban with a fabulous red lining. Naga means lined in this case red! I love the mixed patterns on this sweet Naga Juban. It would be about a size medium. Studio is open Sun, Mon, Tues. 12:00-5:00 or by appointment.

Konnichiwa everyone. Another shipment from Japan has arrived in the Studio. Susoyoke, are half-slips for wearing under kimono, they simply wrap around the body and have ties to hold the slip closed. The pink one is plain while the white one has a floral pattern. The Studio is open Sat, Sun, and Mon. 12:00-5:00
