🏗️ We’re excited to share some big news for the West Parry Sound District! 🎉

The Parry Sound Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce the Parry Sound Builders Association — a new initiative designed to support and strengthen our local construction and development sector across the West Parry Sound District. 🔨🏡

This association is all about bringing together builders, tradespeople, suppliers, designers, and industry-related businesses to strengthen connections, support growth, and create a unified voice for the sector. Through collaboration 🤝, advocacy 🗣️, networking 📈, and shared opportunities, the goal is simple: build a stronger construction and development community right here in the West Parry Sound District.

A major focus of the association will also be the creation of a trusted directory of established professionals and reputable companies 🏢✔️ to help foster stronger referral networks and encourage residents, businesses, and developers to connect with qualified local industry experts.

The association will be overseen by the Parry Sound Area Chamber of Commerce alongside an advisory committee made up of industry-related peers, helping ensure the organization reflects the needs and priorities of the sector itself. 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

⌛️6 Years ago, December 2019🕰️
I took the scariest step of OPENING my own Second Hand store.
Starting in Nobel, and then moving to downtown PS.
I wanted to make a change and do what I love, sharing it with people from all over.
I loved every moment, the good, the great, the bad, the scary, the unknown, and meeting ALL the wonderful people that came through our doors. I don’t know what comes next but we are working on a plan…
Today however, we took the last of the stuff out of the brick N mortar store at 36 James st.
Thank you, Miigwetch to every single person, who graciously supported us through all 6 years of the Vintage Eco Shoppe. You made it all so worthwhile 🙋🏽‍♀️❤️

This is a huge deal and I just want to say Thank You to all of the wonderful customers, and everyone who came to the shoppe from far and wide. You are the reason I got to do what I loved everyday and I look forward to the next chapter of the Vintage Eco shoppe very soon 🙏🏼🙋🏽‍♀️❤️🤦🏽‍♀️

Quite a while back, a lady come into the store looking for a baby doll that was life like for her mother, and at the time we didn’t have anything.
Then shortly after this baby doll (in the picture, came) the lady never did come back and we have kept this baby doll in the basket for her, for her elderly mother.
Maybe if you are that lady and you see this post, you can reach out to me.
I hate to part with the baby and have kept it for a while now…comes in the basket and with a blanket 🤗🥰
