Well!! Its official! The Hippie Pocket has teamed up with the lovely Amanda from 'Sew Darn Good' Sewing Machine Repair! (We love you forever Howard and Janet, but we know you want to retire,) so The Hippie Pocket is now offering Sewing machine repairs out of our little studio in St James United Church! Please come and see us for all your sewing machine needs!

TONIGHT!! And for the next 3 months we are doing an INTRO TO QUILTING class in my studio! We will each be making a SAMPLER quilt from fun scraps! This is an OPEN CLASS for anyone who wants to learn this fun style of sewing. A $10 donation is requested each class to help cover the cost of supplies and fabric. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED Just come in at 5PM at the Mary Street Center in St James Church, Parry Sound. NO SEWING MACHINE NECESSARY for the first class. These classes will be every week all summer, and taught by the Lovely and Talented Mary-Ann Liggins !! Please come join us TONIGHT AT 5PM to get started!!

Very Excited to Announce the schedule for the next 4 Months at the Hippie Pocket in St James United Church!!!

EVERY TUESDAY EVENING FROM 5 PM TO 730 PM.
The classes listed below are Every TWO WEEKS.

During the weeks BETWEEN we will have OPEN SEWING class for you to work on any projects you need help with, or want to work on.

APRIL 28th - MAKE YOUR OWN APPLIQUÈS and Patches (WITHOUT a Cricut ~ the old fashioned way!)
MAY 12th - SUPER SIMPLE SUMMER DRESSES! Draft your own pattern to keep!
MAY 26th - BEACH BAGS
JUNE 9th - The Art of PATCHWORK; skirts, pants, shorts, dresses!
JUNE 23RD Every OTHER Week!!!! until 7 classes have passed - QUILTING FOR BEGINNERS with the beautiful MARY ANN LIGGINS as our guest teacher! This 7 class series will give you all the knowledge and inspiration you need to start quilting. AND you'll end up with a gorgeous finished project you get to keep!
