You may have been wondering about my absence over the last several months (or maybe you weren’t, who knows). Regardless, I feel that I owe it to each of my supporters to share a bit of an update.
When I started Envy Beads in July of 2023, I was so excited to be turning one of my hobbies into a business. While this process has been nothing short of amazing, I was naive to think that running a small business would be a piece of cake solely because I enjoyed creating the products I sell.
As I continue my post-secondary studies and pursue alternative career paths, the amount of free time I have on my hands at the moment is simply not enough to continue consistently with Envy Beads. This has been a weight on my shoulders for some time now, and I believe it’s time for a change.
I want to make it clear that this is not a post to say goodbye, but simply to say I’m putting things on pause for a while. You may see the occasional item or two for sale throughout this time period, but I will not be releasing collections or posting content on a consistent basis.
Thank you all for supporting me on my business journey, it means more to me than I can express in words.
