I decided to open today to keep working away on custom orders! Today I am enjoying the gorgeous feel of this Italian silk crepe. Bonus is that it sews like a dream ♥️
This simple silk dress has been ordered for a vacation in Bermuda and for a second European cruise in the early fall. I can’t wait to see how this gorgeous fabric hangs and drapes when I get the seams sewn together.
Silk is one of my favourite travel fabrics!

The best feeling as a designer is knowing someone is still wearing and loving your piece 10-20 years later! In this case it looks like 24 years later♥️
Occasionally my early leather designs ( circa 1987-2000) show up in vintage shops or estate sales. The buyer usually looks me up and asks about the story.

Today I received a message from such a purchaser.
“Hi! Thank you for replying to me, I ended up purchasing it from an estate sale in Tucson, Arizona. I am in El Paso, Texas so I drove over to get it, I totally fell in love with it!

Thanks so much for making my day so special!


This design was ordered and purchased by a few boutiques at a wholesale show in New York City called Atelier! I attended this show ( held during New York Fashion Week in February ) and sold my leather and suede designs to boutiques across the United States from 2001- 2004. The shirt style jacket is made of butter soft goat suede and the decorative work is appliqué with black braid trim. This shirt was probably sold through a boutique in San Francisco or Sante Fe.
