Spooky Season is officially here and we have a fun month lined up for you 👻

Friday, Sept 4 is the First Friday art crawl, and we are hosting Bizzy | Hand + Homemade Maker a super talented local artist! Stop by 6-10 to see some dope art!

Saturday, Sept 12 we will be set up on Charlotte street for the Second Saturday Sidewalk Sale! Come see us from 10-4!

Tuesday, Sept 15 we are hosting Pamela Van Nest PVN Coaching for “Listening Inward - A Journey into Self-Care”. Participants will receive a “Making the Time” deck, a journal, and warm beverage while they learn how to use their deck and look inward! This workshop runs from 6-8 PM and is $97, or $57 for participants who already have this deck. Please call, email or drop by to register by Sept 14

Wednesday, Sept 16 & Friday, Sept 18 join us for an evening of discussing your favourite conspiracy theories! Come with an open mind and curiosity for this fun, light hearted evening. We’ll be discussing all conspiracies from 6-8 PM. There is a $5 gathering contribution.

Chrysoprase is now in stock at Lavender Moon! I've found myself very attached to these energies the past little while!

For me personally this helps ease the burden I hold in my heart. Its energies pe*****te deep but remain gentle providing healing and relief.

Chrysoprase heals emotional wounds and is aligned with joy, love and wealth. It creates balance and alignment so that we don't linger in the pain longer then we need to. It brings hope and optimism.

Monday August 3rd is a civic holiday and Lavender Moon will be closed. Take the day off and rest and have fun. Happy long weekend!

Tarot readings with our own Alnaevin will be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August- appointments & walk-ins welcome! Nerusha is now also offering dowsing rod questions! Come and get a tarot reading between 11 and 5 pm both days!

Fridays in August we are offering Rune readings with our talented consignment partner Quinn Harlock 🐞Quinn is the maker of all our adorable love bugs & slugs and is a talented Rune Reader. Appointments & walk-ins welcome between 12-5.

First Friday is my favorite downtown event and it happens every month! It’s a super fun night of community, beautiful art and supporting local artists & makers. If you enjoy beautiful things, making new friends & meeting new people, looking for the perfect addition to your personal gallery, this evening is a must attend!

🎨 Art is magic ✨ Creating is magic 👨🏻‍🎨
This Monday, for the first time in almost 4 years, I had no plans. I wasn’t scheduled to work, the shop boy was occupied at summer camp, the shop husband was working and I didn’t have anywhere to go or anyone to meet.
So I decided to paint - something I haven’t done since elementary school over two decades ago. I used my precious hours alone to create art that soothed my soul and made me happy. I used brushes and my fingers, allowing my inner child to revel in the mess of it all. Did I know exactly what I was going to create? No. Did it matter that the idea I had gotten from a previously watched tutorial epically failed? No. Did it matter that I didn’t have the best quality art tools or all the colours in the rainbow? No.
What mattered was that I created something that I find joy and beauty in. What mattered was that I opened myself to the inspiration that had been knocking for months.
So often in our spiritual journies we believe that we need the perfect or best quality tools in order to see progress or change. That we need to do everything perfectly in order to experience healing. But we are gloriously imperfect, wonderfully flawed.
You don’t need to be perfect to experience healing or personal growth. You don’t need the most expensive or best quality spiritual tools to have a revelatory experience. You don’t have to follow a rigid set of guidelines or rules to achieve the next step in your spiritual journey. You can come as you are, with what you have and still do the work, and marvel at the wonderful work in progress that is you.
The goal is progress over perfection. What is the Universe calling you to? What act of creation have you been longing to try but feel like you don’t have the right supplies? The right timing? That you’re worried you’ll be judged for?
I challenge you to give it a try. Take that step on the path of self discovery. Start today, because you just might be amazed at what you created with some dollar store paint & canvas and your own imagination.

Tired of reading the same spell books? Got everything you need from your spiritual books and looking for something new? Drop off your gently used metaphysical/spiritual tomes with us & participate in our Metaphysical Book Swap! This is a great way to get new-to-you spiritual books, and discover what others have found value in while on their spiritual journey.

Please ensure that your witchy tomes are dropped off by Friday, July 24 at the latest - we will be cleansing all the books with sage & Reiki energy before the swap. Also, make sure that we grab your name and the number of books you’ve dropped off. Participants can swap up to the number of books they brought in.

Any remaining tomes remaining after the swap will be sold in the shop at a major discount to allow those just starting their spiritual journey to access material at an accessible price. Can’t wait to swap books with y’all 📚✨
