My little spot at the .makers.shop is slowly growing. Getting back into a creative spot isn't easy and it's hard to commit to myself like that when most of my time is spent running the shop. Pushing other businesses forward and supporting small shops is my passion. Building people up to a level where they KNOW that they're amazing is my goal. We always have stellar advice for others but when it comes to ourselves? Yeah sometimes it just doesn't work like that. That's okay! I'm hoping to focus more time on myself and The Cubby as it's a great outlet to share the things I like with others.

I truly did miss sewing. It's something that I have appreciated being able to drop and come back to. These little plant bags pulled me out of a very dark place filled with so much grief in Spring of 2020. It re lit the passion I had for small businesses and later in 2020 that passion evolved along side one of my best friends when we pushed our dreams to the max and created .makers.shop
I'm truly grateful to the people who continue to support me. Who encourage me to dream beyond my means and who are right there with me when it doesn't always go to plan.
2021 brings new passion projects, a diagnosis that brings me closure and an instinct that I'm where I'm supposed to be.
I'm trusting the process and I'm here to play the slow and successful game

*** Attention families in Peterborough **

We are hosting a Pre-loved event for families at the shop in our studio space each month. This is more like an intimate pop up VS a market.
This is a great way for you to purchase pre loved items that are just too good to donate or giveaway. We all have those outfits we didn't want to part with because we spent an embarrassing amount on haha. Or you might have bulk items to get rid of for a few bucks.
We're looking for 4-6 mummas that are keen to make a few bucks on their pre loved items.
This is a free event. To vend at this event is also free.
Items you can sell
Clothing (baby and kids)
Baby items and accessories (like those pumps you can't post online)
Gently used or extremely great condition only.

If we get a lot of interest we will start a waiting list.

Bye winter, don't let the door hit you on the way out. I'm aware there's many cold days likely ahead but we had a beautiful couple of days and I refuse to let the weather get me down. I'm on spring mode. Easter, chocolate, plants, sun etc I am here for it.
