We’ve been on this from the beginning.
When YOU KNOW WHO first started talking about Canada like our country was something he could buy, bully or absorb, we started putting what we were feeling into our designs.

We hoped the nonsense would pass. It hasn’t.

More threats. More insults. More moving goalposts. More disrespect for a country we love.

Honestly, we are so tired of this.

But we aren’t tired enough to roll over. We’re tired enough to dig in.

Canada is not for sale.
Canada is not on the menu.
And Canada will never be the 51st anything.

Now we stand our ground. 🇨🇦

There are many benefits of growing up or living in a small community or town. You know your neighbours, people still wave when they pass, and when someone asks where you're from, you don't just say Nova Scotia — **you tell them the community.** ❤️

Because that's home. And there's a certain pride in saying, **“Yep, that's where I'm from.”**

There is one problem, though...

She may live miles away now, but a piece of her heart will always be in Nova Scotia. It’s in the salt air, the rocky shoreline, and the little roads that still feel like home. Most of all, it’s with her grandmother—the one who made Sunday dinners feel special, always had time for a cup of tea, and somehow made everything seem a little better just by being there.

Whenever she looks out at the water, she thinks of her. The stories, the laughter, the hugs at the door, and all those ordinary moments that turned out to mean so much. Nova Scotia may not always be where she lives, but because of her grandmother, it will always be part of who she is. A piece of her heart will forever be here. ❤️

Something pretty cool happened at the airport today. ❤️
One of our staff members messaged us:

“Do u know how many of our sweaters are in the airport?”
Apparently… quite a few. 😂

She spotted...
A Piece of ** My Heart is in Newfoundland.**
Then ** Nova Scotia Saltwater Raised.**
Then not one, but TWO **Canadian Bomb Squad** Tees!

And we had to laugh because, even after doing this for a few years, there’s still something a little surreal about seeing someone you don’t know walking around wearing something we made.

That garment started here in Pictou.

We printed it. We pressed it. We packed it up and sent it on its way.

And then one day, there it is… walking through an airport. ❤️

We don't always get to see where our Swag ends up after it leaves us.

So, if you ever spot a fellow Maritime Swag wearer out in the wild, give them a nod from us. 😂

And if you’re the one wearing it — just know there are a few people back in Pictou who still get a pretty big kick out of seeing it.

You can take the girl out of the Maritimes, but you can’t take the Maritimes out of the girl… thankfully! ❤️

Because no matter where life takes us, there’s a little piece of home that comes along too. It’s in our stories, our laughter, the way we talk, and how a cup of coffee can somehow turn into a two-hour visit.

Once a Maritime girl, always a Maritime girl. ❤️
