A couple of Rose bottoms (shorts version) are on the cutting table this week, one for me and one for my daughter.

I am using our dreamy yarn dyed cotton linen stripes for the ultimate comfort and style. There are several colourways and varying checks/stripes to choose from to make your own pair!

Spring is soooo close! In the midst of prepping our shelves for incoming new stock, I took the liberty to do some fun coordinating!

I am absolutely obsessed with this Adams pants sewed from our 10oz washed cotton denim in Classic Black. Peep the super fun white contrast topstitching she did - Aaaaallll the heart eyes!

Tis the season to hunker down in the cold temps and sew button-ups with timeless stripes 👌 And what time to have a wee sale on the stripes and linens to create your own! I am working on a and I am loving the techniques used this go around. Recently, I tended to choose patterns that were super quick for an instant gratification aka kids clothing (because ) but now, I am jumping in with both feet and doing intentional slow sews and appreciating the processes.

Bright ribbed swim knits are my fave, especially the Hint of Lime colourway. I opted to sew a rashie for my 2 year old ahead of summer so it is all ready when it is river time! There's just a smidge left and when it's gone, it's gone! I do not have plans to restock.

Sitka Fabrics also carries rubber swim elastics that is a dream to sew with as well as Mettler seraflex threads and linings.

Pattern for rashguard: Jolly Raglan - I sewed my son's current size so when warmer weather comes around, it'll be tight as it is the intended fit.

It is that almost-the-weekend feeling and our fabrics are on fire 🔥

It has been foggy and chilly lately which had me feeling a bit Januaryish so I looked for fabrics with colour... and RED is the word (and pink, i couldn't not add this one to the stack)
