I am originally from Takla Nation, I live in Prince George on Lheidli T'enneh traditional territory. I am a mother of three, partner, hockey parent, pow wow parent, I live my life o

n the red road and have been clean and sober for over 16 years. I am full time student in graduate program for Masters of Education. I am a Graduate of a Certificate in Business Administration (2014), Diploma in Accounting and Finance (2016), Bachelors of Commerce- Accounting (2018), Certificate in Aboriginal Studies (2023), Bachelor of Arts- Major in First Nation Studies, Minor in General Business (2025), Certificate First Nation Public Administration (2025)

I chosen this name for my business as I am finding who I am as an Indigenous woman, that we all deserve that chance to learn and be proud of who you are as a person. This name I chose is to let my heritage shine through the creations I made, as I am a self-taught regalia designer, and a bead artist. Heritage Shine Creations will be closed from Saturday, September 5 to Monday, September 7. We will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, September 8.

As a small business, our days are powered by a very small, dedicated team. We are taking these few days away to honour our family and prepare for our great-aunt Lillianโ€™s headstone placement, spend much-needed time returning to the land, and adjust our household routines as our daughter joins us full-time for the upcoming school year.

We deeply appreciate your understanding, continuous support, and patience as we take this brief pause to reset and gather with family before a busy fall season. We look forward to welcoming you back in store on Tuesday!

Looking at these empty bolts of fabric, my heart is just full. When we first opened our doors, we hoped to create a space that served our community, but seeing this level of love and support leaves me speechless. Every empty bolt tells a storyโ€”a project started, a tradition carried on, a gift made with love, and a connection shared.
